For my birthday my boyfriend gave me a smart phone! For a few years I worked with an old phone that could only be used to call somebody and send text message but that didn’t even work properly so I was constantly annoyed by that thing. Adding a note with my old phone was also too much work so I ended up with paper notes all over the place and had no overview any more. Furthermore my old phone had the most crappy camera you can imagine. As a photographer I’m constantly looking for inspiration and I hated it when I saw something interesting but forgot to take my camera with me (and the phone camera didn’t really work..).

I wanted to go outside today to sit in the sun, find some inspiration and experiment with the camera on my new phone. But unfortunately the weather isn’t that good today.. I was hoping spring had finally arrived because yesterday the weather was great but just now I read on the weather forecast that there’s going to be snow next week. So I stayed inside today and experimented with a cool app I found that makes your lens look like a kaleidoscope! How cool is that:
