On the 29th of november I made photos of the legendary banjo player from America: Curtis Eller. The support act was a jew’s harp player(not really sure if that’s the right translation, in Dutch it’s called a ‘Mondharp’) Danibal.
You can see a selection in this blogpost or you can view the whole series on flickr. I also made a movie which you can view on Youtube.

Every year I bought an advent calendar at the supermarket. A cheap paper one with small chocolates inside. This year I couldn’t find them at the store because apparently they found something toxic in the paper. So I decided to make one myself. I had to make 24 small envelopes but it looks better than the ones from the supermarket and the chocolates I put inside are way better!

Last saturday I went to make photos at North Empire Fest: a punkfestival which took place in De Bakkerij in Castricum. Here’s a selection, you can see the whole series on flickr.

Two weeks ago I want to Brussel to visit two of my friends who moved there because of their studies. I left my digital camera at home but took some plastic film cameras instead so I could have a good time and enjoy exploring Brussel with my friends rather than focussing on taking nice pictures. So I took a Holga camera with me with and an expired disposable camera and made photos of random things.
The holga photos:

“uit de oude doos” is a dutch expression which means things from the past.
In this category I want to show photos I made some years ago.
This series is not that old but I never posted it on my blog or website so here it is:
Steven & Mendhi – Photos for their wedding invitation booklet. (March 2011)

3 months later at the wedding. Have you ever seen the bride crowd-surfing and the groom taking the expression “broek uit op je hoofd” (pants off, on your head) too seriously? :P
