Last saturday I had a poker fotoshoot at Cafe Lokaal in Heemskerk. A friend of mine, Daphne, gave this photoshoot to her boyfriend as a present for his birthday.

I finished “Designing for Emotion” which was a very interesting book about triggering emotion and using personality in your website, design, products, packages, etc. Now I’m moving on to the next (and for now last) book in the A Book Apart series:

by MIKE MONTEIRO

Co-founder of Mule Design and raconteur Mike Monteiro wants to help you do your job better. From contracts to selling design, from working with clients to working with each other, this brief book is packed with knowledge you can’t afford not to know.

I totally forgot to post some photos of the Uit Je Bak Festival on my weblog. The festival took place the 29th of July in Castricum. More photos can be seen here.

One of my biggest inspirations is iamamiwhoami: the visual music project of Jonna Lee, producer Claes Björklund and photographer John Strandh.
It started as viral video-music project; every once in a while they uploaded a mysterious video on youtube. Once more people were spreading the word, the videos became very popular. If you haven’t heard them yet, go to their Youtube channel and watch the wonderful videos.
