“uit de oude doos” is a dutch expression which means things from the past. In this category I want to show photos I made some years ago.

I made these photos in 2009 with an Agfa Isolette III, which was my grandfather’s camera in the 50’s. These photos were made as part of a small project called “Two makes one”. For this project I made portraits of some of my friends and nature stills to accompany them. For these nature photos I searched for shapes and feelings that represented the person’s personality.

Spring is here and Easter will follow next week. Hopefully the easterbunny will bring some good weather because I’m getting tired of the cold, rain and snow..
Outside the flowers are still hiding in the cold ground so I looked on pinterest to get in to the spring mood:

I’ve started to work on a new project that has something to do with minerals, photos, postcards and necklaces. I can’t show or tell you any more about it because I just started the project by collecting some minerals to work with and get my inspiration from. I’ll keep you updated about the progress.

In this category on my blog I want to show some products and brands I really like. This time, I want to show you something of Ferm Living. Simple and geometric shapes is what I really like of Ferm Living, and I am also quite fond of their way of combining bright colours with natural colours, like grey and brown. They also make stuff for kids which is more playful than their regular items, but still has their characteristic colours and simplicity.

From my previous posts about music you can see I like electronic music a lot. Not the boom-boom-noise kind of music but the more melodic sort. I also somehow prefer electronic bands with female vocals which add sort of a soft touch to the music. Furthermore I like the fact that most of the electronic bands also translate their music in an audiovisual way with great and original videos. In this blogpost I want to show some of my favourite electronic bands:
