My last pinterest post was from week 9 so I missed a week. Sorry for that, was a bit busy. But hopefully you enjoyed yourself with my other blogposts
So this time another weekly pinspiration post:

Afloat zine by Harry Diaz I read a post on the etsy blog about zines and found this lovely graphic zine. I have some plans to make some of my own zines as well.

There’s nothing that can motivate you more than some inspirational music. Last week I was looking at ‘recommended artists’ on last.fm and found the electro duo Cloetta Paris. I listened to some of their songs and I immediately loved it! Their songs are happy and make you want to dance. Their only album was recorded in 2008 so I hope they will release something new in the near future.

For my birthday my boyfriend gave me a smart phone! For a few years I worked with an old phone that could only be used to call somebody and send text message but that didn’t even work properly so I was constantly annoyed by that thing. Adding a note with my old phone was also too much work so I ended up with paper notes all over the place and had no overview any more. Furthermore my old phone had the most crappy camera you can imagine. As a photographer I’m constantly looking for inspiration and I hated it when I saw something interesting but forgot to take my camera with me (and the phone camera didn’t really work..).
I wanted to go outside today to sit in the sun, find some inspiration and experiment with the camera on my new phone. But unfortunately the weather isn’t that good today.. I was hoping spring had finally arrived because yesterday the weather was great but just now I read on the weather forecast that there’s going to be snow next week. So I stayed inside today and experimented with a cool app I found that makes your lens look like a kaleidoscope! How cool is that:

In this category I’m telling you something about products I like. In this posts I want to introduce you to Kikkerland.
Kikkerland makes fun colourful gadgets and home accessories. I like Kikkerland because their gadgets look great but are also useful. Lots of gadgets from other makers are fun but nothing more than that. Kikkerland creates cool things that actually come to use like a cushions that look like logs , a pencil sharper that looks like a vintage camera, a solar powered radio, kaleidoscope coasters and a funny family of wind up toys.

Note to self part 2. I found this one in Flow magazine.

Translation:
“To many people spend to much time in improving an idea before they actually execute it. Instead of waiting for something perfect you should start with what you’ve got and improve along the way”.
